Can i have more than one favourite label?
I like Marni, because it looks edible; Moschino for it's insouciance;

This is an outtake of the american Vanity Fair Magazine December 2001.
Sienna got her start the old-fashioned way:
"I joined a modeling agency. All that skinny heroin chic had gone
and they just wanted girls that smiled a lot and i was like,
How much are you paying me? "
But Amis made her famous:
After a string of english indies, Sienna's breakout role came 2000
on television in a BBC production of Kingsley Amis's Take a Girl Like You .
In the future:
Sienna stars alongside Guy Pearce and Jeremy Irons in The Time Machine,
a remake of the 1960 film based on the H. G. Wells classic and directed
by Well's great-grandson Simon Wells.

My LA
The actress has been back and forth to the UK from Los Angeles for the last two years,
but has been settled in LA for the past year with husband (and fellow actor) Enzo Cilenti.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT LA IS...
Standing on the surrounding mountains... And looking out over the huge city.
The air is so clean up there. I often escape with a girlfriend - partly, for a good walk, but, mainly, for a really big gossip.
The blissful ignorance of California... It makes me laugh when the Americans remark
on how good my English is. I've even been asked what we speak in Britain-land. It always makes me giggle.
Feeling like you're in a sleepy seaside town... There are pockets all round LA with different feels. My favourite area is Silverlake. It's way out east and not scene-y at all.
Having amazing gyms... I go to an awesome gym, called The Joint, on Hollywood Boulevard. They play Slipknot, Queens Of The Stoneage and Metallica - can you imagine
any better workout music?
Eating Mexican food... I could eat Mexican all day! My dad was Cuban - i guess I've
inherited my love of Latin food from him. There are some great restaurants in LA - we
went to an amazing Japanese recently. One of the dishes was a live lobster brought to
the table and we ate sashimi from it's tall. It's then you have to appreciate that you eat
animals or become a vegan.
Having my friends come stay... It's a cheap holiday for them, and lovely for me and my husband, Enzo. We go on trips to the desert or Plm Springs.
Seeing the unexpected... I went to Zuma Beach (north of Malibu) last week and i saw
about 30 dolphins and a whale from the shoreline. There i was, jumping up and down, screaming. "Oh, my God, there's a whale," but the Californians were totally nonplussed.
Being in expat heaven... We live in this 1920 mock-Tudor cottage! It's got oak walls, marble fireplaces and an amazing garden with terraces - it's old-school Hollywood glamour. But we love having our friends over - most of them are Brits and lots live on our road. I'll cook, or we'll order pizza and then play poker!

Wheels and Horses
Sienna Guillory prefers travel on four legs rather than two wheels.
My mother and I are both crazy about horses, and last month we went riding in southwest Portugal.
We went with a company called Ride World Wide and stayed in a small hotel in Milfontes, near the sea. Every day we would ride for six or seven hours up into the hills and forests, or we’d gallop along the beaches, with Atlantic breakers crashing against the white sand. It was lovely to spend some time alone with my mother.

The Oaks
The Hollywood Reporter reports today that british lasses Gina McKee and Sienna Guillory have been cast in the upcoming FOX pilot "The Oaks".
Written by David Schulner and to be run by Shawn Ryan, "Oaks" tells the intertwined stories of three families -- a young couple who have just lost a child in 1968, a family of four in 1988 and a pregnant couple in 2008 -- who live in the same house and are haunted by a restless spirit.
McKee will play the wife in the 1988 family, a harried mother of two struggling to keep passion alive in her marriage. Guillory will play the 2008 couple's neighbor with Asperger's syndrome who went to school with the father-to-be and shares a secret with him.
The casting of McKee and Guillory continues the trend from last development season of casting U.K. actors as American characters in lead roles.
Michael Cuesta is directing the pilot for "Oaks," which is slated to begin production in November.

SIENNA GUILLORY is the daughter of well-known Cuban guitarist Isaac Guillory, a man who has jammed with such stars as Mick Jagger. Sienna began her film career at the age of sixteen, starring in a bit-part British film adaptation. She later attended the New World School of the Dramatic Arts as well as the Paris Conservatoire. When she was just twenty-years of age, she walked into a modeling agency and was signed to a contract on the spot. Sienna is quite familiar with Tinsel Town, being in such films as Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Love Actually and the TV version of "Helen of Troy," being cast as the beautiful Helen herself.
